Our shared faith values inspire us to be peacemakers and to live by faith, not fear. We are calling for peace and condemning the violence that is being inflicted and incited by our president on our border, in our country, and across the world. President Trump’s latest decision to recklessly assassinate of the military commander of Iran’s Quds Force will cause more violence and bloodshed in a region already facing endless wars. Congress must stop the escalation of war with Iran.

Join together with people of faith and goodwill in front of the White House to pray for peace and wisdom for world leaders to work for the common good and denounce violence.

As people of faith we are called to be peace and bring peace. We have this vocation when President Trump incites violence against immigrants and religious minorities at home and when he threatens war overseas. We cannot give into fear but must embrace peace and reject violence.
