MOVE--which stands for Mobilize, Organize, Vocalize, and Empower— is the only national gathering that provides a space for artists, activists, scholars, philanthropists, and others from the Arab American community to connect, learn and exchange ideas. From developing the next generation of leaders to organizing against the Muslim ban, the most pressing issues facing our communities will be discussed at #MOVE19. Don’t miss this two-day convening on Nov 7-9!

This year’s program will address the theme, Your Voice, Our Future, with speakers and panelists from a range of industries discussing how we can turn up our voices and elevate our communities against the backdrop of what has emerged as a particularly challenging and critical time for communities of color.

Early bird registration is NOW OPEN! Your registration fee gives you access to three days of packed programming and activities:

- Thursday night welcome reception at the Arab American National Museum (AANM) with beverages and heavy appetizers, AANM tours, music and dancing, and networking

- Over 20 breakout sessions and plenary speakers covering major themes such as arts, philanthropy, activism, organizational development, elevating women’s voices, and building youth leadership

- Friday night signature event featuring a reception – including strolling dinner and beverages – and an original storytelling theater performance called Undesirable Elements:Dearborn at the iconic Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History

- Saturday bus tours of Detroit or Dearborn (space is limited, RSVP required)

- Entertainment and music throughout the conference

- Access to 25 vendors and exhibitors selling local, artisanal, and unique Arab American-themed products

MOVE is produced by ACCESS, the nation’s largest Arab American organization, and its three national institutions – the Arab American National Museum, the National Network for Arab American Communities, and the Center for Arab American Philanthropy.
